Privacy Policy

THOMO is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at jml.thomo@proton.me for any question about this policy or your data.

When you join the waiting list we store:

• Your email address.
• How you signed up (email form or Google sign-in).
• Whether you ticked the marketing consent and terms boxes.
• The date and time of your signup.

If you sign up with Google, we receive only the email address of the Google account you choose. We do not create an account for you and we sign you straight back out.

We also process limited technical data (such as your browser type and approximate region) through analytics, but only if you allow analytics cookies.

• To send you early access and launch updates - based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
• To enter you into the monthly prize draw - based on your consent.
• To keep a record of the consent you gave - based on our legal obligation to demonstrate valid consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
• To understand how the site is used - based on your cookie consent.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Your data is stored on our behalf by our hosting and database provider inside the EU. We only share personal data with service providers who process it under our instructions (hosting, database, email delivery, analytics). We never sell or rent it.

We keep waiting-list entries until THOMO launches and for up to 24 months afterwards, or until you ask us to delete them - whichever comes first. Consent records are kept for as long as we rely on that consent, plus the period we may need to prove it.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and the right to receive a copy in a portable format. You may withdraw consent at any time - that does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these rights, email jml.thomo@proton.me from the address you signed up with, or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We respond within 30 days.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark.

We only email you if you asked us to. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and identifies THOMO as the sender with a valid contact address, as required by the GDPR and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, tell you by email.
